- How do I work out total head for a pump?
- Add the depth to the standing water level, the height of the tank inlet above ground, and an allowance for friction in the delivery pipe and fittings. That total is what the pump has to overcome.
- Is horsepower the only thing that matters?
- No. Bore yield, casing diameter, delivery pipe size and how many hours a day the pump runs all matter as much as head. This tool narrows the range; the final choice is worth a conversation.
- Which pumps do you deal in?

- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 9 PM. Sunday, 9 AM to 1 PM. The late closing suits contractors collecting material after finishing on site.
- Do you supply contractors on credit?
- We offer flexible credit terms to contractors who buy from us regularly. Terms depend on the relationship, so come and talk to us about it.
